Upcoming RP Event
Colmcille sent us the following announcment regarding a roleplaying event that will be held on the Percival Server in the near future.

ROLEPLAYING EVENT (PERCIVAL SERVER, HIBERNIA): KEENAN'S DAY MARCH (10/23, 8PM EST)

Colmcille sends the young warden Declan across the land with a bag of letters for all clans and guilds:

"Let it be known that I, Colmcille of the Oratory, have sought permission from the martial authorities of Connla to invite the realm to participate in Keenan's Day, a Connla tradition reaching centuries into Hibernia's past. Though the event is normally reserved for the Milesian Celts of Connla, we embrace all races and clans in this time of danger and unity.

"Two centuries ago, when Midgard first began to raid our countryside and the first round towers were raised to protect our treasures, the monk and saint Keenan of Connla escaped the chapel in that town on the Shannon, taking important manuscripts and illuminations with him. He moved with stealth through a party of raiders from Midgard, traveled northeast along the Shannon and finally reached Tir na Nog, where he deposited several of the manuscripts. Wounded and exhausted, he died outside of the great city.

"Each year, the people of Connla take this march, stopping along the way to relive Keenan's adventures and heroic deeds. This year's celebration will begin at the Connla binding stone on Tuesday, 10/23, at 8PM EST. We will run to Tir na Nog, stopping at several points along the way to gather participants and tell of the heroic journey of Keenan. Upon reaching the fields outside of Tir na Nog, we will conclude the march by wielding Keenan's staff. Each who wields it in turn will be permitted to make a brief statement of allegiance to Hibernia. The event will conclude with a festival of music and dancing at that place. If you are unable to make the march, please join us in the fields outside of Tir na Nog by 8:45PM EST.

"Hibernia go brach!"
